Have you seen how mnay gorgeous chunky knit scarves, gloves, hats, sweaters, slippers, etc. are out at the stores lately?? And I'm sure they can't be that hard to do but they do probably take a lot of time. I did find a cool knitting site. ChicKnits is a part of the Free Knitting Patterns Netring. I've heard of hip knitting groups being organized all over the country. The one name that stands out in my mind is "Stitch and Bitch"! I just read a story on them in the SF Bay Guardian. I can't believe that I let all those coupons pass me by! you know, the ones that come in the mail at this time of year, along with all the catalogs.
