Knitty is here!
I'm still looking through patterns now.
I haven't picked up my needles in a couple of weeks. (just a bit busy, but that's a good thing!)
Need to be inspired by a very cool handbag pattern.
for crayola red yarn.
(it's coming tracey!)

This may have been posted before, but Beauty of a Site is the best beauty shop I've seen online yet. You can find everything from OPI nail polish to Solano hair dryers to Votivo Candles. Easy to navigate, too!

Justine Bateman was just on the View showing her designs.
Her handknit items are GORGEOUS!
wish they had more pics of them on her website

I started a sewing class this past Monday night. My little old lady of a teacher was a firecracker! She has so much spunk She makes it exciting to learn why bobbins need to be threaded and why seams need to be backstitched! I felt a bit out of place at first because the class was filled with older ladies and moms. But they were very cool people and I can't wait to make stuff!

Knit bag pictures!!

It's navy blue but I couldn't help but add baby blue contrast stitching.
(it's only on one side and can be easily removed)
And I made a baby blue pocket for the inside.
It's also got about a one inch flat panel for the bottom so you can fit more stuff inside.

The construction was all kind of trial and error, but I think it works pretty well
