I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays. I know it's not over yet, but I'm still recovering.
Now I'm starting 5 different knit and crochet projects.
a single crochet hat
a couple of scarves
and I'm still looking for something to make out of Red Heart Light and Lofty yarn. (it's pink!) not sure what I can do with it yet but I love the color and texture.

merry Christmas eve!
I hit the mall early this morning to get some last minute shopping in.
Of course, I added a few things for myself in there. Had an Abercrombie discount that I couldn't pass up!
But I ended up buying a shirt and pants at abercrombie kids. couldn't find anything at abercrombie I liked enough.
And I bought a very cool sweatshirt for Davey from Hollister Co. (an offshoot of Avercrombie with a more beach feel to it).
and a couple of tins of Almond Roca. yum.

I took a sick day off work a couple days ago and got some knitting done.

Once again, I didn't make it over to Santa Monica for the Stitch and Bitch....
Just don't feel like fighting traffic at that time.
But I will make it over one day.
Till then, I wonder if there are enough people near Long Beach to start up a Stitch and Bitch around here?

I ended up making a scarf using the headband pattern on quidnunc. It's light blue. Turned out nice. Now I am going to add dark blue tassels to the end. Pictures to come :)
