Monday, April 28, 2003 11:15 AM Art Jog 2003 My weekend in San Diego was a blast! Since we were a bit off the beaten path of the Art Walk, we had fun directing people to our show. I met so many very cool fabulous creative people and I can't wait to visit again soon. Wish I was able to take more pictures but my camera battery was dying... 
click here to see the rest! 0 comments Thursday, April 24, 2003 3:45 PM I got the best Easter (Spring!) package in the mail yesterday! Just seeing the LUSH stickers on the packaging made my day. I couldn't wait to tear open the box and as soon as I did, I wished I could eat up everything in it because it smelled so scrumptious. But I can't because it is soap and perfume and stuff. just not made for eating.... It was the Karma kollection all wrapped up in a shiny gold ribbon. Just one of those things that you don't want to mess up because it's so pretty. But I will. Thank you easter bunny ;) I am currently adding some of misscdesigns jewelry to the shop. That was a fun (impromptu) photo shoot. Can't wait to do more stuff like that. She is one super talented girl. Working on a mini-bio to put up as well. 0 comments Monday, April 21, 2003 10:24 AM San Francisco is so beautiful and so much fun! I miss it there dearly. I bet more peple would get use of my hats and scarves there than down here in sunny Los Angeles :) I'll write more stuff about the trip in my journal. Some fun stuff I found lately kick ass kuties stationery by Lisa Petrucci gama-go I also met up with Connie of Miss C designs when I got back. We had breakfast at Bread and Porridge in Santa Monica and I had yummy banana and pecan pancakes. We did a photo shoot of some of her jewlery and I will get those up in the shop as soon as I get more information from her. If anybody has questions about any of the pieces below, le me know! 0 comments Tuesday, April 15, 2003 9:29 AM I have a bunch of new stuff to add to the shop. some hats, some jewelry. Slowly adding them on and then will send out a mass e-mail when I'm done I guess... Sometimes I get the urge to add on products at 1 a.m. and then end up going to sleep before I am done. Need to be a better businessperson! I am also going up to San Francisco for a few days so I'm really going to fall behind on my 2 or 3 hats a day goal I set for myself. I came back with carrot cake, toblerone chocolate, and Virgil's root beer. No matter how irritable you are going through the aisles and aisles of food deciding what you want to eat first, having the checker guy, bagger guy and manager guy all fight over who can help you first will just make your day. And even if that's not how it really happened, that's how I saw it happen :) And now, I am (online) window shopping, watching the Gilmore Girls and making another hat.

Can't wait to see what she comes up with! 0 comments Wednesday, April 09, 2003 5:45 PM Kara and I went to the Lunch with Lulu sale put on by Planet Lulu today. But to shop this time, not to sell. I've been busy with work so I haven't had time to make new inventory. I've made very cool contacts there though. We will soon be featuring jewelry by Cheetahbox and soaps by Willendorf Soaps (some of her stuff is up on Purple Skirt Use code 'skirt' at checkout to receive a 15% discount)! I also bought myself the kickiest, flirtiest red skirt by Ashley O' Rourke :) I will also be one of the featured artists at Art Jog 2003 on April 26-27 in San Diego. Brandi of BShigley Designs is putting together this event to coincide with ArtWalk 2003 near Little Italy. I'm going to make a fun weekend out of it. There is still so much to learn... I did learn that I need to make spring-ier colors so get ready to see a new collection that includes pinks, purples, greens, blues, yellows, etc. The flower pins also did well :) will add more of those.
