The new apartment is finally starting to feel like home!
(even though I still need to unpack a few boxes)
and I am inspired to start new craft projects since my new apartment has made me quite poor at the moment...
Not sure what knit items would be good for a summer in Southern California so I'm hoping to get a sewing machine and make some throw pillows. First I have to learn how to sew. and I probably should look up some crafty ways to store things in the new place.
oh, and I have been reading a few Bulletin Board threads on the Stitch n Bitch book. It's fun to see that people are working on Zeeby's bag!
Let me just say that Zeeby's bag brought me out of my knitting drought, so thank ya! I wanted to do it in different colours, but only had white on hand...and I was itching to knit so I just used white :P But I'm going to do the embroidery in a pink (I have scraps lying around - as you can see I'm too lazy togo to a wool store!) and maybe some flowers on a lower right hand corner...I think I'm going to give it to my friend cos she asked me to knit her a bag.
hi! i bought stitch n bitch about 6 months ago. its fab! i found your blog through your little bio in the book. i just started zeeby's bag, i am doing it in a dark red, with the CC as a bright yellow. =) i just finished up the 1st panel, im so excited! and...addicted!! :) but, i just wanted to say howdy and let ya know i super dig this pattern. its very nice....

I am finishing off Zeeby's bag which has been my first major project. I'm doing it in navy with cc in white. I was thinking a nice pin on flower would look cute with it.
